How will my donation(s) help?
With over half a million children in wheelchairs across the US, only, Cerebral Palsy has become one of the most common disabilities in the world. There are several forms of CP and thay all range in severity. Every child is different. Usually, children are diagnosed within their first year, but others aren't diagnosed until around 3. CP affects the fine motorskills and posture, and is often caused by brain damage before, during or shortly after birth. Thankfully, it can only improve with age if the child participates in physical therapy on a regular basis. Surgery also can contribute to a child's progress, loosening the muscles.
There is no definate cure for CP, and several organizations / foundations are working towards discovering it... With your donations and support, it will be found!
